- 50 Years of the Seaway
On a gloriously sunny day, with the stands filled to standing room only, the RCMP Musical Ride participated in a 50-year celebration of the St. Lawrence Seaway. Festivities also included presentations from dignitaries, the unveiling of a plaque, and new signage. Local artisans displayed their wears, and information tents were setup to spread the news on the the history and importance of this feat of engineering.
